Hello everyone,

So the day is vast approaching when the whole school gathers on the field to watch people do track events such as running *gasps of terror*. I would not count myself as a person who is very sporty (very much the opposite) so when this day comes ever year I always dread it with all my heart and this year will be no different. However once upon a time this Teenage Blogger absolutely loved running and even put herself down for the 1500m in year 7 and 800m in year 8. But what really has started to bug me is the fact that every year the popular girls all say they are going to turn up for the events but don't so the reserve (most of the time being me) has to do their events instead while they stand around and eat ice creams. We have an ice cream truck come to our field (lucky us!) which is the only decent part of sports day but how is that fair?

 This year will be no different and this is why I have refused to do any running events. I have done more than any other person in my class and my enemy, the one I tried to keep the peace with, has decided to put me down for 2 running events! I should just be the better person and probably just let the popular girls get away with it but it is hardly right to put me down for track events especially when on the weekend  before I have my D of E expedition and have to walk 12 hours over 2 days! I am going to be tired with all my bones aching. I just don't understand why other people can't do it. Anyways lets not dwell on the negatives as I will end up probably end up doing it anyway with my sore blistered feet. Well that's just the kind person I am *Sighs frustratingly*
