Thoughtful Thursday || Body confidence is essential in life

Hey BloggerBeans,
Everyone's body is shaped differently. Some people have curves others don't. Some people have big boobs while some have small boobs. What ever your body shape is, you shouldn't feel pressured to change just because others say so. Just because you don't like an aspect of your body, doesn't mean you can't wear certain things. You must not think like that. As long as it suits you then go for it!
Below are my top tips on feeling comfortable in your clothing and in your own body:
1 ~ Decide which style of clothing best suits you. Boho, preppy, punk, edgy, sporty, vintage or a mixture of styles, its up to you!
2 ~ Find and decide which clothing shapes suit you. For me, I find dresses that pull me in at my waist and flow down cover my tummy better than other style dresses.
3 ~ Stay away from clothing that doesn't make you feel confident and don't feel pressured into wearing things you don't like. Wear what makes you feel confident.
4 ~ You don't need makeup to feel beautiful. Wearing none is okay and is healthy for your skin. At least one day a week should be a makeup free day to let your skin breathe and to make sure your pores don't get clogged. Having a good skin care routine and taking your makeup off before you go to bed can help make sure your face doesn't have a spot breakout. For me this is a huge problem.
5 ~ Accept your imperfections. You are never going to be perfect so you need to accept this. For every bad thing you don't like about yourself there always will be a good feature. For me I don't like my face as for every teenager out there I have acne which has always bugged me as I have had it from a young age. Luckily for me my face has calmed down now and isn't as bad as it used to be thanks to spot creams and various other remedies I have tried. However I love my hair so even when I'm bummed about my face being red and angry I always feel lucky and blessed that I was born with natural blonde hair as many people pay a lot of money to go to salons to dye their hair the same colour as mine.
6 ~ complimenting people is a must. If you like what someones wearing tell them! But never ever be horrible about someones appearance. It is just mean and if they are feeling vulnerable because they are wearing something out of their comfort zone, it is going to knock their confidence. If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say it at all.
Lastly I wanted to end with a picture I found on my personal Facebook home page. For me it sums what I am trying to say perfectly. The comment down below is what I wrote on my personal wall as I shared it on my profile as it was so inspiring to me x
