Drama London trip.

Hello Bloggerbeans,
Recently I went to london as part of a school drama trip to see 'Grimmes Fairy Tales' at the barge house OXO tower wharf. I had the best time ever wandering round london with my best friend Sian and by the end of the trip I had lots of photos to remember the day by and I thought what better way then to tell all you guys about it and show you the amazing moments I capture on camera :)
To get to the theatre place we went past the london eye which was pretty cool and even listened for a while to buskers perform on the southbank who were very talented. For tea we went to wagamamas which for me was okay but I ended up ordering something I wasn't to keen on so I was left quite hungry. Luckily with Sians secret marshmallow stash I got through my hunger!
The actual theatre place was not a convential theatre but was a large warehouse converted to different rooms where we were taken on a journey. Itwas an exhilarating experience with the acting being very interactive. The way they had decorated each room to represent each fairytale was breathtaking and with a sound scape looping in the backround it made the performance realistic giving it more depth. For a long while I felt like I was actually in the fairytale and experiencing it first hand. With it being Grimmes FairyTales, there was a certain eeriness to some rooms where you knew that the classic fairytales where good conquers evil had been thrown out of the window and replaced with the sickening truth. Lights were hung from ceilings and down one staircase classic lines from fairy tales were written, graffitied and stapled to the wall which was impressive.
I highly recommend that if you are visiting london anytime soon that you book tickets to go. It is nothing like you have ever seen before and grips you to the bones. You can find out more information on their official website HERE.
check out my friends Sian's post HERE about it and see all the amazing pictures she took.

You've taken some really great pictures! I'm just wondering, were they developed from film? I could be completely wrong, but they have a really grainy feel to them, especially the first one! I love them :)
ReplyDeleteI gave you a follow also, follow back? :)
I tried this product out myself and found it worked great for creating a sombre effect (sublte ombre.) I did have a few issues with it though!
Be sure to check out my latest review - http://kayteevivienne.blogspot.co.uk/2015/02/bleach-london-total-bleach-review.html
Thank you! I took them on my iphone for convenience but i think the lighting from the theatre is what is giving them that look :)
