My Mini Happies #3

Hello Bloggerbeans!,
Before I start today's post lets just get the elephant out of the room... (A metaphorical Elephant not a real one as I don't think I could hide one without Longleat Zoo finding out!). I didn't post on Friday and I am ever so sorry and I knew that I was going to find it hard to blog during exam season however being me I wanted to try to anyway and this is what happens. I feel like I let myself down a tad however I am doing my best with what limited inspiration I have along with the massive creative block I am experiencing as exam information mushes my brain to nothing. (Such fun!). Onto My Mini Happies for the last couple of days and the weekend:
I finally got my prom dress which is so exciting and has made it even more real that I am actually going. I had such a great time with Katie and Lauren trying dresses on with Sian coming with us for support. We tried on so many dresses it felt like a workout by the end of it! After a long time trying on all sorts I FOUND THE ONE! I don't want to give spoilers on what it looks like as you will see in a prom based post in the future but it is very me in the sense that it is a long floaty minimalistic dress in my favourite colour. I have my bag and some bracelets I plan on wearing with the dress but I still need to get my shoes and earrings. I just want to live in my dress now as it is that pretty.
Carries Book came last Saturday which I forgot to mention in last weeks Mini Happies! Carrie Hope Fletcher is a British actress, Vlogger and highly equipped tea maker who through her YouTube channel 'ItsWayPastMyBedtime' creates an array of videos including how to deal with exam stress, Song covers and how to pee in a onesie and is an honorary big sister to her followers who she calls 'Hopefuls' (I am proud to be called a Hopeful). Carrie has always loved to write and last month came the release of her book ' All I Know Now' which I have started reading. Even though my reading list is 7 books long, Carries book skipped straight to the front of the pile! The advice she gives is so insightful and I wish I was given this book going into my teens 3 years ago as I think younger Katy would of benefited from this.
Oh Emma Blackery, Thank you for your videos helping on my revision breaks. (YouTube for the win Everyday!)
I went to the Annual cuckoo fair which is a festival and has lots of funky art, food and jewelry stools which I went with my Buddy Sian. We had a good ol' time buying yummy food (they had Nutella cupcakes!), Stroking rabbits which were for sale there (we named the one in the collage above Kellin Quinn junior just to let you guys know) and I also brought some more friendship style thin bracelets to add to my collection which I always purchase there as they are incredibly cheap. I also won a lot of unnecessary items on tombolas which I have no idea what to do with. When it comes to tombolas I am a lucky charm!
Another Mini Happy which will make this week is extra special is that we celebrate this blog's 1st birthday and you are all invited! Get ready for Friday's post where we can all wear birthday hats, eat lots and lots of scrumptious cake and look back at how far this blog has grown!
Well farewell for now. I will be back soon! for now though I have a English Language exam to pass so I better go do some more last minute revision,
Catch you later x
