As summer approaches it is the time where swimsuits start to pop up in shops which would be fabby if it wasn't for the fact that some people (Including myself) are a naturally a little self conscious about our body's.
There is probably nothing for us to worry about however it is that doubt which has been planted in our brains which is the problem. From a very young age beauty is portrayed innocently through barbie dolls and looking up to our mums and wanted to be like them which at this age is childplay.
It is only when we get older that the lines between beauty and the way we look begin to get a lot thinner as society's expectations of us becoming more demanding. If you don't have a thigh gap, a perfectly toned tummy or a slim figure then society becomes quick to dismiss you and label you as unworthy of feeling beautiful when that is far from the truth. Whether you have societies idealistic qualities or not, everyone deserves the right to feel beautiful.
Magazines are the worst at idolization with the use of photo shopping on woman's body to possess these airbrushed qualities when in real life, that is not what they look like. The flawless images which are produced and then published are seen by many people, most who know thanks to countless media coverage, not to rely solely on how the model looks in the photographs as it is highly likely the image they see has been photo-shopped. But what if people don't know this? Unfortunately this is the case for many niave girls who look up to these images for inspiration and 'want to be just like them' which can become very harmful and dangerous.
The truth is every woman (and man!) are shaped differently. Some of us are tall and others small. We may have a petite figure or plus size figure or in between. you may have an hourglass, straight, pear or even apple figure. We are all uniquely shaped differently

True beauty lies within yourself and accepting all your unique qualities that make you so special and unique. The world would be so boring if we were all the same so go out there and show the world who you are!
Once you learn to accept yourself along with your flaws, you begin to discover who you really are.
If you have made it to the end of this post (gold star for you!) then I have some words of advice for the approaching season of fashion where you may feel like you are not worthy of feeling beautiful just because you feel like you can't possible wear something that society says only certain people can wear:
. Wear whatever makes you feel comfortable and if you want to wear a bikini and then do so as there is no one stopping you
But how do you make your body bikini ready? You simply put a bikini on your body
