We haven't had a Friday segment for a long while since Fandom Friday came to a natural end so thought as I have been recently enjoying fashion trends thought I would create Fashion Friday so we can all swap style tips with each other and not be afraid to try the latest trends. When it comes to dipping my toes in to the world of style I am normally reluctant to try new things out however recently have been trying to be a little more gutsy when shopping and picking up pieces which I wouldn't normally choose and have been pleasantly surprised. One of these purchases involved the Denim Pinafore below. With 60's fashion coming back in style with Dungarees being more popular along with high neck collars, I wanted to make a nod to the comeback trend and what better way than the classic denim pinafore dress. I styled it with a simple red sleeved baggy T shirt and tights which would be perfect for spring however to see you through out of winter can be styled with a long sleeved one coloured jumper. My favourite colour jumpers to wear with it are grey and red however any one tones jumper would go even a mustard yellow which is very in trend at the moment which I tried to make work on me but just didn't suit me.

 I NEVER thought that I would ever rock a pinafore dress but its all about figuring out your body shape then finding pieces to flatter that body shape.This pinafore comes out slightly at the sides to accentuate my hips along with flattering my stomach. Their are more defined Pinafore dresses out in shops but its finding what makes you feel confident within. Its a journey which I've been on for a while with one of the defining moments being when I will soon be going out and purchasing my first ever bikini which Is a huge step for me. Hopefully Fashion Friday is something that will be here to stay.
