Thoughtful Thursday || Charity Shops

9:00 am

Hello Bloggerbeans,
I was recently inspired the gorgeous Louise Pentland and her video HERE to donate a few of my old items to my local charity shop. I donated a couple of my old clothes including a brand new pair of jeans, a board game and piece of wall art. I feel like people have views of charity's shop of selling granny clothes which are not at all stylish when that is far from the truth! I used to have such a closed mind about looking in there so when I went into one for the first time in years I was surprised with the treasures I found especially clothes in my size from well known brands in such good quality not to mention their amazing range of Books and Dvds which are mostly recent releases. I went in their the other day and found such a cute Pink Jumper which was from River Island for only £7 and was in very good quality. I'm not saying you have to buy all your clothes from a charity shop but maybe try and see if you can find any key wardrobe pieces as you never know what you may find. Everyone gains from this as you get an item of clothing that is at a good price and your local charity shop gets to use that money to help others who are in need.

Beautiful poster, so true. Cool website, too. 40% proceeds go to charity of choice.:

If you have any unwanted items which you don't wear or use anymore think about donating them to your local Charity shop as in some shops their stock gets very low at times. There's no point keeping an item of clothing you know you will never wear so giving it to a charity shop is such a good idea as you get to feel good about helping out by giving them stock and that someone is getting good use out of that jumper you brought that you don't feel confident in. Go do some good in the world Bloggerbeans!
