Day in the life || London with Chummy and meeting Sprinkleofglitter

11:00 am

Hello Bloggerbeans!,
Louise day arrived and I am still very giddy with happiness from it (Oh me, oh my!). It was possibly a day I will look back on with lots of lovely memories. I blogged the day while Amelia vlogged it meaning we both have lots of footage and pictures to remind us of the awesome day we had.

The day started off as any other day however I had to be up early as our train left the station at 9:45 meaning it was a 6am start for me! I was so excited that I didn't get much sleep the night before but that didn't matter as I was v. excited to be meeting Louise. I decided to wear a 'Louise style' skirt and paired it up with a baby pink top and key pendant which was from Avon along with some gold glittery shoes. I also wore a skin coloured cardigan as it was going to be a warm day. I decided to just do my usual makeup routine and went for one of my light pink lipsticks again from Avon.

OOTD

I then met up with Chummy where we then walked to the train station, vlogging bits and bobs as we did. I soon regreted wearing those Glittery shoes as they started to cause me a great deal of pain. Being a 'just in case' person I packed some sandals which I changed into.

My Chummy Amelia and I

During our train journey we listened to Little Mix's Black Magic which soon became our song for the day. We couldn't get a seat in the main carriage which actually turned out to be a good thing as we got a seat outside of the 'main carriage' meaning we could talk a little louder and get fully into our music (A.K,A dancing in our seats like nutters and singing quietly all the lyrics). When we arrived in London we got on the tube and headed straight to Oxford street for our shopping part of the day.

It took us a while to find Lush but when we got there I was taken back by the sheer size of it! 3 floors of Lush goodness made me a very happy person indeed. We took a brief look round the ground floor until we where told about a 'scent experience' on the bottom floor which we got to experience. We were taken on a journey through a sectioned off part of the store which had themed little 'rooms' where we got to see the artists inspiration behind each of the scents. It was a very enlightening experience.

After this tour which Chummy and I had so much fun we then headed to the top floor and went wild smelling bath bombs and Bubble bars and oh boy did I buy quite a few bits and bobs. I think I may do a Lush Haul in the next couple of weeks so I can talk and show off the products more. The people working at Lush were really friendly and were very passionate about their products which made the store feel like such a lovely place to be in. We were even told if we wanted to test out a Bath Bomb just to take it off the shelf and take it to the one of the sinks and just go for it! we ended up testing out the frozen bath bomb which I ended up buying in the end as with Bath bombs I am very wary as my skin is very sensitive so during the test I was surprised to find it didn't irritate my skin making me very happy indeed. (More baths bombs for me!).

With a good 7-8 products in my side of the basket, we headed over to some tables where we were allowed to try and test out the fun in the full range of colours. I decided to make a simple flower and when done, placed it on the shelf with all the other creations. The staff there were just so lovely and friendly and while Chummy and I had lots of fun making things, A member of staff was happy to tell us about the products as she herself made a fox which was a lot better than my creation by far! She told us that she made the fox as at the moment Lush have a Campaign running to #keeptheban on fox hunting as at the moment the government are deciding whether to keep it or not. Chummy and I were happy to sign the petition and if you want to sign it as well you can click HERE to find out more.

After spending 2 whole hours in Lush we decided to find somewhere to eat. We were trying to find Nandos but when we were handed leaflets on a restaurant called Byron Burger, we decided to eat there as they had featured in past vlogs of Tanya's and Jim's so we decided to give it a go. Their burgers were so huge and scrumptious that in the end I couldn't manage all of my burger and fries. After our filling meal we headed to the toilets where I stupidly made the mistake of leaving my foundation on the side meaning that when I got back, I had to buy some more in town on Monday. (Why am I so forgetful?!). Chummy then told me that I had been doing my mascara wrong and that I should of been 'zig zagging' instead of just brushing upwards which has now changed my perspective on makeup  (I am new to all of this!).

After Lunch we headed to Primark and literally shopped till we dropped! Again like Lush, I think I may do a haul as I brought a lot of things for college and for the summer including a crop top, Parka Jacket and a really nice pair of brogues I plan on wearing to college. I also ended up buying a yoga mat for only £2! At this point chummy and I had forgotten that we were going to need to carry our massive Primark and Lush bags on the tube to Piccadilly circus which is where the Book signing would be held... It was going to be a struggle but we did make it in the end!

Once we had arrived at Waterstones where the signing was held we waited in a queue where a lady scanned our tickets and gave us a wristband to wear. We then waited until it was our turn. We weren't allowed posed photos (selfies) which I was a little sad about as I wanted a photo to have as a keepsake however I took a few shots (not very good mind you as I was shaking a tad) of Louise while I was in the queue.

Piccadilly Circus

When it was our turn to meet Louise I was just at awe at how genuinely friendly and kind she was. I did not feel at all rushed. I was worrying that it would be a quick pop in pop out situation which was making me feel panicky as this was going to be probably the one time in my whole life I would meet Louise and I wanted to make a good impression which I think Mermaid girl did  ;) (More on this in a bit)

When It was me and Chummy's time to say hi and meet her we handed her the bag we brought for her which said 'I <3 Darcy' which she loved as 'I have a child with the same name!'. I then handed her the Motivational Warm Fuzzies I made along with the letter I wrote. Louise then noticed our yoga mats and we talked briefly about taking up yoga and that we would definitely send her tweets of us doing yoga to her, she then complimented my hair to which I said thank you and then we took our books and said goodbye and this is when she said 'Goodbye Mermaid girl and friend' which just tipped me over the edge emotional wise as I was still shaking. As I left I squeezed Chummy's arm and said 'Chummy did that actually happen' which Louise behind us repeated chummy with an aww.

Afterwards I did have a good ol' Kylie Minogue sob with Chummy and decided to sit down with some other Sprinklerinos and talk about the YouTube community in general until we needed to leave to get our train back home. I had such a wonderful day and couldn't of asked for anything more. When I got home I was so tired from the day that after face-timing Chummy for a bit as we unpacked all of our goodies and uploading a couple of pictures from my day including the picture below, I fell straight asleep thinking my life couldn't get any more better

Oh how wrong I was! I woke up to the surprise that Louise had liked my Instagram photo (Squuueee!). I was beyond filled with happiness that I decided to brave it and wear a crop top for the first time ever with shorts along with a flower crown and just embrace my body for what it is. Thank you Louise <3

Please may I be allowed to have more amazing days like this with friends as this is the year I do more things that make me happy. Oh how 2015 is becoming one of the best years so far.
