Day in The Life || The Dr who experience
9:40 pm
Hello BloggerBeans,
This weekend has been crazy!
Being a massive whovian, the perfect place for me to go for my birthday was of course going to be the home and birthplace of where Doctor who was 'Regenerated' back in 2005, this being Cardiff! In Cardiff bay there is The Doctor Who Experience where you get to see props and set from the show which is pretty cool. To get there we had to go on three trains: a main one to get from where I live to Cardiff Queen street, another train to get to Cardiff central then a train/tram to take us to Cardiff bay.

It was then a short walk from the station to the place where it was held. When we arrived it was spectacular! Everything was themed from the toilets to the restaurant!

We then waited in line for the first part of the tour which was an interactive and exclusive adventure which was of course amazing. I can't tell you what happened as spoilers! I will tell you though that it involved iconic Dr who characters such as the Dalek's and the silence and you may even get to help fly the Tardis!!! If you want to find out more then you will have to go for yourselves. If you are a massive whovian like me, you will love it.
After the mini adventure of saving the universe was over, we were shown into the museum/exhibition section where we were told to stay as long as we liked. There was 2 floors of various props which included the tenth doctor's Tardis set, lots and lots of different doctors police boxes, Costume from all previous doctors, companions and iconic monsters/villains and props from various episodes/series. They even had the recent props and costumes from the Christmas special which made it even more exciting as they were very new to the exhibition.
Some of the equipment from the BBC radio-phonic workshop where Delia Derbyshire created the original theme tune.
I had lots of fun trying to walk like a Cybermen and scarecrow. I would say I wasn't that bad...
MY FAVOURITE PHOTO EVER!
Whatever you do, don't blink...
The most British thing ever.
until then,
Toodlepip x
