Fandom Friday has returned for more! You know you are emotionally invested in something when you start buying merchandise* and this is the case for many people, including myself. Merchandise can come in all shapes and sizes and could be a book, poster or even wearable products such as T shirts or wristbands. Merchandise is a way of showing others what you're in to and it also helps to support others with what they are doing.

For me my merchandise is mainly to do with You-Tubers and I am very proud to say I watch people such as Zoella, Alfie (Pointless blog) and Dan and Phil, supporting them through their merchandise. They put time and effort into what they do including creating items which are to the highest quality. I have a number of their products and I am so happy for them that they have the opportunities which we allow them to have and the fact they have created merchandise proves that they care about their viewers.

Merchandise isn't just about YouTubers though, it can be TV shows, Bands or even films! If you have read previous Fandom Friday posts then you would know that I have a huge passion for Dr who and it is only recently that I brought some merchandise in the form of a awesome wristband which I am wearing as I write this! I think Merchandise can be a cool way of expressing yourself showing what type of things you enjoy and it is even cooler when you spot someone else wearing merchandise of something you are also into as it is a great conversation starter.
