Dip Dying your hair may take a while...

9:29 pm

Hello everyone!
Today, with the help of my best friend Sian, we managed to dip my hair. It took a good while but the results were pretty good! If you are planning on dying your hair I recommend you go for semi permanent dye. This allows for you to try the coloured dye out and if you don't like the colour it won't take as long to wash out.

It does look a lot like a certain You Tubers hair (This being Sprinkle of Glitter's who I absolutely love) and this was the main inspiration for me dip dying it however I wanted mine to be a darker shade of pink. I am really loving my hair and would defiantly be up to doing it myself however you need to buy special brushes which I didn't have but my friend did and also the dye does stain everything it comes into contact with which includes the towel you use, your hands if you don't wear gloves and in my case my back as I washed the dye out! The dip dye I got lasts for around 4 hair washes and the pot had enough paint for me to dip dye my hair again at least another 2 times which works out at around £2 each time (The pot was £5.95 and the price excludes the cost of the brushes) the colour shown was roughly the same colour as it turned out on my hair and I can confidently say I will be trying out more colours (hopefully!)

Sorry this blog is late by one day!! (I know that I should be consistent but I do have mock exams very soon and need to revise so this will be the only excuse why sometimes my blogs will be late by a day or two) hopefully all you lovely people will understand xx
