Hello Everyone,
I hope everyone had a great bank holiday weekend! For me not so much. I have my mock exams starting next week so I have decided to study my but off over the next week or so as when I go back I will not have much time to revise as most of my nights will be taken up with extra curricular activities including piano lessons and D Of E. For me I find that my brain limits me on the times when I can and can't revise. Take mornings. I cannot seem to take in much as i'm still half asleep! All this studying has left me having no social life and I am beginning to think at times that my brain has overheated as I have had a couple of unpleasant migraine headaches. Along with all this revision I still have a 2000 word drama essay which I haven't started as I am soo busy. Hopefully I can start it at the weekend as its due on Monday (yikes!) *Dreads doing it*

However this blog has come as a relief as it gives me a chance to do something that I enjoy, instead of doing boring biology revision. As this blog is revision inspired I think we need one of those snazzy lists that I like to do in my blogs at the moment!! (we all love a good list!)
Things that i need in order to revise:
A pen - To write amazing revision notes. Is it just me who has a thing about only writing with certain pens? I find that the consistency of the ink really matters as I can't have a pen that smudges as I write as i'm left handed and end up with all my lovely writing turned into a massive smudge #LeftHandedProblems...
A revision book - Where I get all the wonderful information from.
A laptop - Used for leaning on as a desk and for the occasional Facebook check.
A Whiteboard - Where all the information for my mock exams are.
A positive and can do attitude - This one I totally need to improve on...
Realistic expectations - Three chapters of biology in one day? Maybe just stick with two.
A Good nights sleep - This one is very important as you don't want to wake up grumpy!
A pack of Nerds - To give me my sugar rush to keep my brain awake.
Chocolate happy hippos - To reward myself after doing a solid hour of revision.
How to Revise
step 1. ~ Get out of bed at a reasonable time. This does not mean 11.....
step 2 ~ Have a good breakfast as you will get hungry.
step 3 ~ Set up your books and take a deep breath.
step 4 ~ Have a little mental breakdown as you panic about how on earth you are going to manage on doing that much revision in one day.
step 5 ~ Start doing your revision in 30 minute chunks not forgetting to eat your chocolate and panic during your breaks about how your gonna carry on (Just Keep Swimming!)
step 6 ~ Feel proud of yourself as you now have completed a huge chunk of revision (Well done chum!)
step 7 ~ Take a huge brain power nap and relax.
step 8 ~ Start feeling annoyed as you realize you will be doing the same thing tomorrow!

So much revision to do. *Sigh* |
While i'm in my own bubble writing my blog I will tell you what things I have been loving as an escape from doing revision!
Britain's Got Talent - The talent show that I am actually watching at this very moment as I am writing this blog. It has been a lifesaver as I look forward to watching it while I do my revision in the day. *Hears ed Sheerans perfect voice* Sing!
We The Kings - My Friend Ela,who is in my seven second challenge video, recommended this band to me and I am glad she did. They write pop, punk music which I have fallen in love with over the last couple of months and have introduced them into my iTunes family.I can finally say that after trying lots of music genres I feel comfortable with the music I have decided to choose to listen to. And did I mention they have a song with Demi Lovato? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eGGt5VoHX_o&feature=kp

Ghost by Ella Henderson - This is one of my favourite songs at the moment and I love the tempo, lyrics and sound of this song. The fact that it is sung by the amazing Ella Henderson is a bonus. Her voice is amazing! This song is on repeat at the moment as i love it soo much *Starts to sing* But your ghost, the ghost of you it keeps me awake!
Southampton shopping, Primark unicorn pj's and Revision sleepovers - Just a number of things that will be in my next blog post on Friday which will be all about my day tomorrow and what I got up to with my best friends Katie and Sian. I am totally looking forward to spending time with my best friends as we will be supporting each other with our revision. It should be a day to remember!
