Hello Bloggerbeans,
How are you all? I am now halfway through my exams now. I swear it was only recently when I was talking about starting them, now I am nearly finished them all. Only 7 left to go!
Today was my official last day of school! If you are a dedicated blog reader (thank you if you are btw, hello if you are new) then you will know how long I have been looking forward to leaving for ages however now I have left and only need to come back for study leave... I don't know how I feel about the whole idea of leaving.
I was very excited to leave but when I got home it kinda hit me a little how much I am going to miss certain aspects of my school days. I definitely won't miss doing Math's lesson's or the way I felt restricted to doing things that just didn't interest me such as the endless amounts homework (Thank god that will be over) however I will miss the people. I have spent 5 years with those wonderful human beings in the picture above that It's going to be a long while till I find friends as amazing and awesome as those guys. I know I will make friends at college however your first best friends will always have a special place in your heart.
I mention Katie and Sian a lot in my posts as to be honest, they are one of the few true friends I have who I can trust and be myself around. I have known Sian for 11 years and have been in every class with her since reception and have known Katie from year 9 however have become incredibly close to both during our school days. Its going to be a little difficult to adapt on my own but I am looking forward to being that little fish in the big pond that nobody knows as it gives me the chance to present myself in the way I want. They say 'first impressions count' and they really do but I feel like in year 7 I made the complete wrong one! Starting fresh will give me the chance to introduce myself more 'truthfully' in the sense I will now know what to expect now from year 7 experiences (and mistakes...)
For a long time I have been looking forward to starting a new chapter of my life. I have probably mentioned before somewhere my plans for when I leave: Get a job, Start singing lessons again, Teach myself how to play the guitar, Get back into playing the piano, spend more time writing blog-posts, Perhaps even start YouTube properly as I'l have more time. I was looking forward to pursuing these for a long time as they were dreams of mine but now my final proper school day has ended and June the 12th is looming ever closer I am nervous and excited as It has just sunk in that all those hopes and dream and aspirations are actually going to become a reality very soon as I begin to do the things that I am passionate about which makes me ever so happy (Squeee!)
That's it for today. 'My Mini Happies' will probably come back for a few more posts while I just finish my last few exams. After that I have a whole schedule of awesome Blog-posts planned including Book review Mondays, Day in the life's, some more Makeup Mondays along with a splash of Thoughtful Thursday posts. I look forward to writing them all!
How I feel right now in a piece of music - Night Time from the film Mr Magorium's wonderful Emporium.

p.s To any of you who are doing exams at the moment I wish you all the luck in the world and remember: A grade does not define you but will help open doors for you. Just because their may be a certain key to open the door you desire to walk through, doesn't mean their isn't a door that leads the same way with a key that you possess (I hope that makes sense to you as I'm not good with this whole metaphor thing!)
