Hello Bloggerbeans,
Today's post is a little off from usual as I just wanted to have a reflection on this year so far. A lot has happened this year and it only dawned on me how far I have come when my good pal Katie and I looked back on my first ever attempts of YouTube videos back in May (Which have been privated since the start of this year for cringey reasons) and seeing fetus Katie made me feel so nostalgic to think that those videos were made (badly I must add) just over a year ago. That doesn't sink in for me as I remember the day I filmed my getting to know a Teenage Blogger with my friend Sian and remember how nervous I was. Compared to then I now have the confidence to talk to a camera and now make YouTube videos inspired by other people but are still mine. It also has made me realize how fast time is moving.
This blog is a little bubble of happiness but after the terrible things that happened all over the world on Friday 13th it has really made feel very lucky to be alive, safe and healthy. It scares me a lot to know one day I will not be here on this planet and each to their own beliefs, I believe in re-incarnation in some form that our souls carry on living. It's completely okay to have different beliefs however what I believe is what gives me re assurance that I will be okay when i'm not around.
Time is precious and you should spend every waking moment doing something that brings you joy. Do the things that you want to do but are just too scared that people will judge you as trust me when you look back on life you will seriously regret not having the heart to tell someone you love them or even giving up your dreams for second best as 'They never happen'. Seize the moments you have with friends, family and loved ones as you don't know whether the minute you say goodbye to someone whether that will be the last waking moment you see them alive. Fulfill life's big moments but don't forget the small ones. To anyone affected by what has happened my heart is heavy for your loss and know that the whole world is deeply saddened by the events that took place.
